im currently working as a resident manager at a 26 unit building in berkeley. my reason for looking for a new resident manager position is the opportunity to receive more compensation for my services. my current situation affords me about half of my rent and i would like to find a position that could offer me at least full rent, with the possibility of a small salary. i realize this would likely come from working for a larger building or complex, but am surely up to the challenge. i am also currently employed full time, but my job is very flexible and allows me to take time away to attend to the needs of the building.
my current duties include:
showing vacant units
apartment move in and move outs
coordinating with repair people
answer tenant questions and complaints
talking with prospective tenants
general cleanup of the building and light maintanence work.
i would like to find a position in the greater berkeley area (berkeley, oakland, emeryville or san francisco)
