We are seeking a strategic, process-minded individual to be responsible for developing, documenting, and managing tactical planning, administration of third-party vendors, department-wide financial analysis, standards, tools, and quality programs. This individual will work within a corporate facilities team that includes Planners, Facility Managers, Construction Project Managers and others to implement best practices tools.
Duties and responsibilities are:
The Region Facility Manager plans and manages all aspects of the facilities function of owned and leased properties which includes but is not limited to maintenance, HVAC, janitorial, grounds, and operations. The Region Facility Manager plans, budgets and schedules maintenance projects including scopes of work, bid summary sheets, layouts, and contracts for project implementation: inspects projects to ensure conformance with established specifications and to comply with company and/or government regulations, assigns personnel to various projects, including preventative and special projects management; responsible for employment, training counseling and motivation of assigned staff at multiple sites.
Other duties as assigned.
Experience:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering, architecture, business management, etc. and/or related field experience or education.
4-5 years corporate facility management, 4-5 years project management.
Experienced & knowledgeable of various types of Air Conditioning & refrigeration equipment, DX, Chilled water systems, VAV systems, supplemental A/C units, zone A/C and fan coil units.
Multiple years of experience with an OEM company highly desirable.
Experienced & knowledgeable in Building Automation, UPS and Switchgear Systems.
Strong hands-on field experience in the application, programming and commissioning of systems is highly desirable. Excellent interpersonal skills. Strong ability to motivate, communicate, and team effectively with a diverse staff. Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint programs.
Demonstrated ability to successfully manage assignments/projects utilizing staff that report to others.
Financial analysis, planning, problem solving and implementation skills. Ability to manage multiple issues and projects.
Must be a highly motivated individual with the ability to meet multiple objectives.
Excellent verbal & written communication skill required.
Exceptional Organizational skills.
Ability to communicate effectively with all levels in the organization including technical and non-technical personnel, managing relationships with staff from other departments.
