We are now accepting applications for a Regional Event Sales Manager in a junior role for our Northern California market. This position will assist the Regional Sales Manager in selling all group golf outings to businesses, charities, and hospitality groups, with a large emphasis on golf clubs, churches, schools, etc.
The candidate we are looking for will be energetic, friendly and not afraid to ask for the business. This person will also possess general knowledge of computers with an emphasis on database management, professionalism, ability to communicate with staff and customers on all levels, and a true passion for all aspects of sales. Minimum of 3-5 years sales experience required - no exceptions. (Hospitality sales a bonus)
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
• Sell and book group golf events through out-bound calls, call-ins, networking,email blasts, donation letter responses, and other sales solicitations as uncovered through the course of doing business
• Follow the sales process from beginning to end in an accurate and timely manner while supporting the Company’s goals and values.
• Being active in various networking associations which will benefit our goals.
• Administrative consists of proposals, lead generation sheets, thank you letters, surveys, to name a few.
• Marketing efforts on a local level
• Create and assist in facilitating VIP events and Hospitality events for top clients at golf courses.
• Problem solves and proactively lends ideas to all phases of our business.
