If he hadn't CHEATED.
Just like Pete Rose (and his astounding records) Barroid is a Pariah because of his CHEATING. Because of his reprehensible character.
And nobody is "arguing" that Pete Rose didn't accumulate 4,256 career hits, a record that still stands.
Rose also holds the Major League records for career singles (3,215), career at bats (14,053), and games played (3,562). His breaking of Ty Cobb's record stands as one of the great accomplishments in baseball during the late 20th Century.
But he will FOREVER be a stain on the game that he mastered.

what an idiot you are. barry bonds is without question the best player of our era. and dont even go there with the steroids. typical barry hater, hate him all you want-cant argue that he is the best player over the past 40 years.
