Ok, first off, maybe if you knew when to get off the throttle in a corner, you wouldn't have so much understeer in an AWD car. I agree, however, that an inexperienced driver will experience significant understeer with an AWD/FWD car. On the track? Please, even without my boost at 20psi, I would spank any M3 out there (except the Mischief E36 - that's a BADASS M3, I won't deny) The problem is, you count too much on tight turns and oversteer drift...except you don't know how to drift, even in a RWD car.
Do me a favor - go watch a few SCCA/WRC rally events and tell me how many BMWs you see out there.
PS, I have a driver's club membership at buttonwillow - the guest fee is 50$. If you think you can take my STi with your M3, please contact me via email, we can chat, and whoever wins in however many laps you choose, buys dinner. And the wine. And the gas.
