Turned away? Of course not; they're free advertising. But, hey, most people can cough up ten bucks - shitfire, we can get rich swindling and bamboozling ignorant and gullible fools! Beyond all other regions of the country, the Bay Area is a fuckin' gold mine! There's more whack-jobs running around free here than anywhere else in the nation!!
You people are fucking deluded, and these guys are laughing all the way to the bank, exploiting your own particular form of mental illness.
Here's the problem with all these conspiracy theories, from "the 9/11 cover-up" to "Elvis is alive and waiting tables in a diner in Utah" - they are all needlessly and uselessly complicated. Let's assume, for the sake of argument, that the government WANTED a terrorist attack of larger than usual proportions to occur on US soil.
There are many easier and less complicated plots that could be conceived of than this ridiculous idea that the WTC aircraft were secretly landed, equipped with remote controls, and then flown into the towers. Or whatever other whack-job variant of this plot you want to consider.
Any good plot would simply function by FACILITATING operations that were already in place; the Government involvement would consist of far more simple things like giving information to terrorists, bribing cops, FAA officials, flight school instructors - or even replacing them with federal agents. There's no need to concoct and run some elaborate scheme; on any given day there's several hundred people in the US who want to lash out violently against some perceived enemy, and tens of thousands around the world who wish the same thing. It's far easier to simply facilitate and support their own plans than concoct some elaborate hoax.
And, if you want to run a well-planned operation, why on earth fire a missile at the Pentagon, when using a hijacked plane would do just as well - or better, considering the armored nature of the building - 10,000 lbs of jet fuel and a 60 ton aircraft is going to make MUCH more damage than a 3,000 lb missile with a 500 lb HE warhead), and more importantly, be more CONSISTENT to the rest of the events when viewed by uninvolved investigators - as everyone knows they MUST be. You are not going to be able to subvert the THOUSANDS of people working the scene, from the Park Police to the NTSA to the FBI and the various military branches. It's literally impossible.
These conspiracy theories fail the "Occam's Razor" test, every time, usually by a wide enough margin that they fall off the edge of the map of plausibility. There's simply no reason to go to such complex effort when very simple efforts applied differently would yield the same or better results.
But, hey, if you want to pay $10 to a bunch of gleeful swindlers, go right ahead. It's your money, not mine.
