Hey...I understand you have your rants. That's cool. Everyone has their personal beefs albeit its something I strive hard not to have but hey...we're only human. As far as this Filipino bashing is concerned, I had to jump in on this because I'm an American born Korean male dating a Filipino girl who's good looking, smart and sweet. Despite all the negative stereotypes regarding filipino chicks, my gf happens to be outside the norm of filipinos. That's not to say that she doesn't share some of the same characteristics that you mentioned, but she is also very unique in other ways. For one, she's not a nurse and she doesn't act ghetto 24/7...in fact she HATES how filipinos act ghetto and always try to act black.
As for me personally, I don't really care about 'em too much. I grew up around a lot of filipinos when I was in middle school and high school. A lot of filipinas actually jocked me back in the day so I always thought it was normal for filipinos to be open to dating outside of their race until I moved to San Diego...
Then I found all these filipinos down here that were a lot more close minded and one sided. They love acting black, talking black, dressing black, using "holla" and "nigga" in every other sentence like they're from the ghetto when in fact they live in a surburb. Remember Jose "Sway"? Haha. They're only in the lower socioeconomic class because their parents don't emphasize education nor to they put the lockdown on their kids like other Asian parents. Yes, most of them claim they're bisexual (this is all a front). Yes they love to act ghetto. Yes they become nurses or joined the military. Yes...a bit cocky (but so are Koreans so I can't say much there).
On a positive note, they can dance better than most other Asians, sing better than most other Asians, and are a lot more social than other Asians. These are things we can learn from them and other races i.e. the positive things.
Point is, they're just a trendy crowd and bridge the gap between blacks and asians. Not sure why that is, but they choose to associate and present themselves in that manner. Just let 'em be...
In conclusion, I say be open to 'em and they'll be open to you. That's probably why I'm dating one right now...*shrugs*

OK, so I notice a lot of posts on filipino banting. well, i'd like to chime in.
Im KOREAN, and I personally can't stand filipino girls-- they are all backstabbers and gold diggers. and especially filipino people in general, i hate their accents and their food, filipino food, looks and tastes like SHIT. you all work in the mail room. and in the corporate world, all you are are secretaries and when you find other flips, you associate with them too. Filipinos are low class, among all asians, just like viets and other south east asians. You all shop at Ross. I know--- id probably be accused of stereotyping, but cmon now--- its like every flip girl i meet fits this stereotype. and all the "designer bags" you flips carry are FAKE, and you buy them from the vietnamese nail salons-- you flips are all cheap.
Koreans would never date flipinos-- unless the koreans are from like daly city and "assimilated" into the flip daly city culture. I know that korean families dont care for their kids to date filipinos.
Any koreans or Filipinos out there? Id like to hear your ideas on dating.
