That's not the issue. What's important is that the President uses legal means to execute the search. If he wiretaps a phone without a warrant, he has the option to get one after the fact, yet Bush didn't even bother to do that. He just figured he was above the law and has no need to follow the law of the land which he swore to uphold. That's the issue. As for you nonsense about Chavez, that's not even worth responding to.
