Summary of Duties:
StubHub is looking for QA Engineer to join the product development team. He or she will support ongoing product development and implementation projects; will report to QA Manager and work closely with developers and product managers; will be required to perform manual tests using white-box and black-box methods, and produce test documentation such as test cases, test plans, and test scope.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Perform test execution, including functional (front-end and back-end), regression and integration tests
• Use white box and black box testing methods
• Write manual test cases
• Create test plans and test scopes
• Report issues and create status reports
• Work closely with Development team to isolate and resolve bugs/issues
Skills and Abilities Needed:
• Solid understanding of QA methodology and process
• Agile process experience
• Strong bug writing skills; Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Experience in functional testing, regression testing, GUI testing and defect management
• Experience in white box/grey box testing
• Understanding of software development life cycle
• Good understanding /working knowledge of HTML and SQL
• Experience in Unix Scripting and XML
• Knowledge of Java is a +
• Automation experience using Mercury products
• Excellent analysis skills and attention to details
Education and Experience:
• 4+ years software QA experience in an E-Commerce environment
• BSCS, BSEE degree or equivalent required
