Requirements:
• Experience in testing multi tiered web applications in a rapid development environment.
• Proficiency in testing Web applications with comprehensive knowledge of browsers and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with JAVA, relational databases (Oracle), XML, HTML and basic Windows/UNIX system administration.
• Must be able to work well with Customer Support, Operations, Product Management and Engineers.
• You must be a strong communicator, both written and verbal.
• BS in Engineering or Computer Science.
• 5+ years experience in QA.
• Previous startup experience is desired.
• Experience with SQL language desired
• Project experience with J2EE application servers desired
• Experience with QA automation – worked with tools as Silk, Winrunner.
Responsibilities:
• Execute testing tasks and report status, escalating issues as appropriate
• Proactively solve problems, suggest process improvements.
• Replicate problems reported by customers help triage the issues.
• Identify project risks and recommend actions to minimize risk
• Analyze product requirements, create test plans, and identify deliverables
