Production QA Specialist
Support Production Manager with focus on art/packaging development, setting & enforcing QA standards, and assisting in documenting producing/manufacturing protocols.
Primary Responsibilities
- Assist in managing large (5000+) SKU database and over 50+ vendor relationships. Communicate with multiple vendors on a daily basis, insuring all production deadlines are met.
- Attend and participate in weekly status meeting with various in-house departments and also with vendor partners.
- Develop protocol documentation, including but not limited to purchase order process, receiving process, QA review process, routing guides, etc.
- Find & develop new vendors and alternate, lower cost sources/products
- Minimal travel to warehouses & vendors on an as-needed basis.
Job Qualifications
4-5 years of production manufacturing experience. Cosmetics industry preferred, but strong apparel, home furnishings, or other consumer soft goods background also appropriate.
