Assurance Industries is a leading promotional products company. We are currently seeking a production artist who is dedicated, hardworking, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Job Description:
·Completes daily production orders. 80% production / 20% design.
·Creates film for in-house pad printing and silk screen printing.
·Digital retouching and color correction of photos and illustrations. Understand image formats (EPS, TIF, GIF, JPEG, PDF), graphic compression tools and their use.
·Creates, updates and maintains Web design and internet sales tools.
·Supports and partners with Graphic Artist in the designs and develops print and on-line advertising, and retail packaging.
·Serves as production fulfillment contact: gathering digital data, burning cd’s, fulfilling email requests. Works with overseas Asia offices in sending and receiving artwork.
·Organizes and maintains digital data, archives and resource materials.
·Assist in Marketing as needed.
·Maintain and update graphics library and source documents for Sales Department.
·Create mock-up and virtual samples artwork.
Qualifications:
·MUST have excellent tech knowledge in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, and Microsoft Office Suite. PC experience.
·High attention to detail.
·BA in Graphic Design or related field preferred.
·Experience with digital retouching and color correction of photos and illustrations. Understand image formats (EPS, TIF, GIF, JPEG, PDF), graphic compression tools and their use.
·Excellent communication skills; copywriting, proofreading and editing skills. Customer service skills are also essential for this position, as you will interact daily with our customers and people at all levels.
·Exceptional organizational skills, resourcefulness and initiative.
·Ability to juggle shifting priorities and multiple projects at all times. And adhere to stringent deadlines.
·Ability to think progressively with a passion for detail, design and supporting a brand image.
·Must be a dedicated team player and feel comfortable taking art direction from others. Must also have the skills to operate independently.
·Experience in packaging design, layout and production a plus.
·Positive attitude and strives to improve the company as a whole. Desire to be part of a team who loves what they do and wants to make a difference.
