Position Description
The Product Manager is responsible for assisting with the overall product maintenance and profitability; research and design/development (including pricing and underwriting determinations) of new programs; regulatory compliance; statistical and competitive analysis; claims monitoring and oversight; marketing support; interdepartmental communications and assistance; and reporting of industry and company product trends to Senior Management.
Position Responsibility
This Product Manager position will be responsible for assisting in the following nationwide insurance programs:
o Motorcycle (Street Legal)
o Motorcycle (Off-Road)
o Personal Watercraft
o Excess Liability (Auto & Motorcycle)
o Snowmobile
o Travel Trailer
Position Requirements
Candidates should possess the following qualifications and competencies:
o Bachelor’s Degree or related industry coursework
o Strong insurance background
o Solid knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Office
o Excellent oral and written communication skills
o Flexibility, initiative and accountability
o Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
o Planning and organizational skills important
o Self-starter
o Detail oriented
o Strong math and analytical skills
o Database management skills (optional, but preferred)
o Insurance-related designations, certifications or licenses (optional)
