Seeking Pharmacy Tech or Med Tech for a growing upscale Residential Substance Abuse Program located in an unbelievably beautiful Marin County setting. Need for resourceful, dependable, organized individual who takes direction well, to work the evening shift (3:00pm to 11:30pm). Work days will be determined but will include some weekends. Primary responsibility will be to observe and monitor residents taking their medications. Other duties will include assisting in the overall functioning of program activities, i.e. answering phone, conducting facilities checks/rounds, assiting counseling staff, helping to check in new residents, running errands, driving residents to and from meetings /activities, supporting residents in rule compliance, copying/filing and providing adjunct support to staff. Pharmacy Tech will be part of a multidiciplinary team that includes, physicans, psychologists, addiction counselors, nutritional therapist, registered nurses etc. Program offers, individualized and holistic treatment approach including but not limited to; group/individual/family therapy, Yoga, Tai-Chi, massage, acupuncture, expressive arts, psychodrama, full on-site Gym w/personal trainer, Chef prepared meals, Hydrotherapy, chronic pain program, chronic relapsers tract, on-site 12-Step meetings, relapse prevention and much more.
