We are a Bay Area Trucking company seeking a part time experienced diesel mechanic to maintain and repair fleet of tractor/trailers. Hours flexible. Approx 20 hours/week. Must have own tools. Duties includes but not limited to:
* Perform preventative maintenance services
* Perform repairs as needed.
* Provide repair estimates on major repair jobs.
* Maintain vendor relationships
-Assure best price.
-Assure quality services.
* Maintain Parts Inventory
* Shop Setup
-Maintain shop cleanliness consistent with EPA requirements.
* Maintain Tractor/Trailer Equipment of CHP/BIT/DOT requirements.
