Founded in 2002, Extreme Learning, Inc. is an exciting, fun, and fast-growing educational services provider for Kindergarten through 12th grade students. Extreme Learning contracts with school districts throughout the Bay Area and Central Valley to provide educational intervention programs in public schools and utilizes technology to ignite students’ passion for learning while providing them academic support and enrichment.
Extreme Learning, Inc. is seeking dynamic, motivated, and enthusiastic individuals to be Academic Coaches in Fremont. We are looking for people who are highly committed to the educational advancement of economically disadvantaged students and families. Individuals will be needed to provide academic tutorial services in our innovative, school-based after-school programs. The program involves working with a group of students for two hours a day on their homework and skill building activities utilizing computer software. The main focus of the program is on Language Arts and Math. Coaches are also given one hour of prep time each day. The hours are from 3-5 on M, T, Th, and F. Wednesdays are from 1:30-3:30. Coaches are expected to arrive 15-30 minutes before program starts and stay 15-30 minutes after program ends.
Qualifications
• Bilingual in Spanish strongly preferred
• Some college education or college degree
• Experience in education or tutoring children
• Excellent communication, people and problem-solving skills
• Ability to tutor in math/language arts
• Familiarity with computers

• Extreme Learning, Inc. provides competitive pay dependent on applicants’ level of education and experience as well as eligibility for a quarterly bonus.
