Part Time (25-30 hours per week) - Accounts Payable Clerk/Administrative Assistant
A Bay Area based Restaurant company seeks a multi-tasker. The ideal candidate must have a background in Accounts Payable. If you enjoy performing a variety of duties, this could be the position for you. The job entails processing Accounts Payable and various administrative duties. You must be a highly motivated, personable, detail-oriented individual who will initiate tasks & keep current records without excessive supervision. We are looking for someone who is ready to make a long term commitment.
Qualifications:
• A/P experience required
• Excellent phone, computer, and written and verbal communication skills are required
• Possess flexibility, organization, strict attention to detail, and the ability to act independently
• Ability to work well under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and work well with others
• Sense of hospitality and humor
Skills:
• Type minimum 40wpm
• Can operate on PC Platform
• Proficient in Word, Excel, FileMaker Pro
MAS 90 and PowerPoint a plus
• Strong Internet skills
• Superior organizational skills
Some Responsibilities Include:
• Code and enter A/P
• Process invoices, maintain statements, weekly check runs
• Data entry of sales and daily deposits
• Communication with Vendors regarding account issues
• Reviewing and processing Payroll (after 90 day probationary period)
• Filing
• Type and print correspondence
• Maintain office equipment
• Handle Mail, Messenger, shipping and faxing needs
• Greet clients, answer multi-line phone system and take accurate messages
• Inventory and order a variety of items: uniforms, smallwares, kitchen, shipping, and office
supplies
• Coordination of office events (i.e. birthdays)
• Provide general assistance to Accounting Manager and President.
