Fast-growing toy and game company in the Mission/Potrero area of San Francisco seeks a professional, energetic creative individual with a solid background in package design and production. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Designing and electronically constructing various materials including packaging, game
components, advertising, signage and prototypes
· Working directly with Project Managers to implement projects
· Constructing files accurately for prepress production
· Making PDFs for licensor approval
· FTPing files to printers
· Insuring the organization and integrity of our art server files.
· Some troubleshooting of software might be required
Work Practices:
· Creative, conceptual thinker that can turn his/her ideas efficiently into electronic files
· Proficient knowledge of Mac software: Quark, InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator
· Highly organized with files and server backups
· Can troubleshoot software issues
· Solid "can do" attitude and appropriate sense of urgency
Qualifications: (do not apply if you do not meet ALL of these requirements)
· Proficient knowledge of Mac OS-X software: Quark, InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator
· Package design and electronic production background
· Minimum of 3 yrs work experience
· Organized and detail oriented
· Likes games, puzzles and toys
· Authorized to work in the US
