The Pacific Athletic Club has Front Desk positions available immediately for the following shifts:
Monday Wednesday Friday 8:00am-1:00pm
Tuesday 3:00pm-11:15pm
Sunday All Shifts
Ideal candidates must posses the following characteristics:
- Experience giving a high level of personalized customer service
- Ability to multi-task while still maintaining attention to detail
- Being extremely reliable and consistently punctual is a MUST
- Available to work a minimum of 3 shifts every week
- Good verbal and written communication skills are essential, along with a positive attitude and friendly demeanor
Duties of the Sports Desk Associate include but are not limited to:
- Warmly greeting each member that enters the club with a smile
- Answering all incoming phone calls, transferring to voicemail and/or appropriate person
- Making Tennis, Squash and Group Exercise reservations for our members
- Fielding member’s questions regarding the various activities offered by other departments
- Being responsible for a wide range of monetary transactions that are processed at the Front Desk
- Checking-in guests and giving them a brief orientation of the facility
- Diffusing member conflict situations with tact and professionalism
- Keeping a regular inventory of the Lost & Found that is turned in
As a Sports Desk Associate you would be eligible for:
- A complimentary individual membership, which gives you access to a 100,000 sq. foot facility with 9 tennis courts, 5 squash courts, state of the art weight and cardio equipment, 3 heated swimming pools, more than 100 group exercise classes offered per week, a full service spa, pilates machines, personal fitness trainers, etc.
- A 15% discount off all items and services offered in the club
- $5 guest fee for family and friends
- Medical, Dental, Vision and Life Insurance offered to all part time employees who work a minimum of 20 hours per week after having met that requirement for 3 months of employment

Hourly pay begins at $8.00/hr, however with the completion of an optional New Hire Homework Assignment within the first 30 days of employment a $0.50 wage increase is offered.
