Rack and Stack: Under direction, candidates will remove existing Catalyst switch from rack and replace with a new one. Work is done on Saturdays and Sundays.

• Must understand basic patching
• Must be able to work most weekends
• Must be fastidious with and attention to detail
• Must be available with 5 day notice
Desktop Moves: Candidates documents existing desktop setup prior to move. Labels appropriate cables. Disconnects PCs, UNIX workstations, phones, and peripherals. Reconnects equipment at new locations and verifies functionality. Actual physical moves are completed by a 3rd party. Work is completed during off hours and the weekend.
• Must be respectful, responsible, timely
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English very clearly
• Should be proficient with desktop hardware including Wintel and UNIX system, configurations as well as peripherals such as keyboard, mouse, speakers, printers (local and networked) and monitors
• Must be able to lift 40 ponds consistently and safely
• Understanding of basic networking is preferred
• Familiarity and understanding UNIX system addressing including IP addressing and subnet mask configurations is a plus.
