Brookins AME Church is seeking an experienced and dependable musician to provide musical accompaniment for the church’s music department and worship service. In addition, the musician would provide assistance with choirs as needed.
We are looking for a candidate with strong musical and directing skills in the following areas: Contemporary, Traditional and Hip Hop Gospel and is able to play by ear. It would be a plus if the candidate has the ability to read music and has some background in the playing and directing of other types of sacred music such as hymns, anthems, and spirituals.
