Westside Organics is a fast growing web based organic produce and grocery delivery service located in Hayward. We deliver to homes and offices across the Bay Area. We are looking for a motivated, energetic, and responsible person to be a part of our produce packing team. Must have a positive attitude, have lots of energy, be versatile, and self-motivated. This position starts at 3:00AM so we are looking for someone who likes to be at work before the sun comes out. If you are friendly, honest, committed, and take pride in going above and beyond then we want to talk to you. We provide all employees free organic produce each week and discounts on over 500 organic grocery items. This position is 3 days per week/24 hours.
We currently have the following Part-time position open for immediate hire:
Organic Produce Order Picker (Early Morning Position)
Responsibilities:
- Work Part Time Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday (8 hours per day)
- Work from 3:00AM - 11:30AM
- Pack produce for customer orders
- Load and Unload trucks
- Assist in warehouse cleanup
Requirements:
- Must be a morning person and come to work charged
- Attention to detail
- Honest, reliable, and flexible
- Ability to regularly lift 50lbs
- Knowledge of produce industry is a plus
Position pays $10-11/hr DOE
