Crunchy Foods (located on Oakland/Emeryville border) is looking for an Operations/Production Manager for our Bakery/Warehouse.
Will assist with production planning, ordering, tracking, monitoring and quality control for internal record keeping and industry compliance.
Ideal candidate would have:
- Experience in Production, Plant, Quality Control and Quality Assurance Management and Sanitation Management
- Experience in Baked Goods
- Focus on employee health and safety, waste reduction, efficiency, productivity and production quality
- Familiarity with the following terminology: HACCP, AIB, SSOP, GMP, FDA, Nutrition Labeling, Allergen Program
In addition candidate should be:
- Highly motivated, organized & detail oriented.
- Familiar with warehousing, inventory control/management, shipping and receiving.
- Familiar and comfortable with basic computer skills, Windows XP/MS Excel & Word, QuickBooks Premiere a big plus.
- Punctual and reliable.
- Able to lift 30+ pounds more than once without groaning.
- Flexible and willing to pitch in whenever and wherever needed!
And have:
- Excellent written and verbal skills in English (bi-lingual in Spanish another big plus)
- Long term commitment and desire to help the company grow.
