OrganicBouquet.com is an online retailer specializing in organic flowers and gourmet gifts. Founded in 2001, we are a rapidly growing and well-funded company that sells products direct-to-consumer via the Internet and through nationwide retail stores such as Whole Foods Markets.
We are seeking an energetic, target-beating Online Marketing Specialist to help implement and manage our online marketing campaigns. The persons duties will focus primarily on new customer acquisition through search engine, email, and affiliate marketing.
Reporting to the VP of eCommerce, this person will work with cross-functional teams, including Merchandising, Graphic Design, Marketing and IT, to do the following:
Implement and manage search engine marketing campaigns (Google, Yahoo, etc) and comparison shopping engines (Bizrate, Shopping.com, etc)
Develop and manage affiliate partnerships
Implement and manage monthly eNewsletter and email campaigns
Track and analyze campaign performance to ensure each program is meeting objectives
Maximize marketing opportunities on a per channel basis
Generate activity reports that reflect campaign performance
Identify and report on areas of opportunity and needed improvement
Web content mgmt duties may be required
Skills and Qualifications:
2 years minimum of online marketing experience
Familiarity with search engine marketing, affiliate marketing, and email marketing; campaign management experience a huge plus
Familiarity with site and marketing analytics tools
Ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Proven analytical skills to measure and optimize campaigns
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Strong familiarity with the Internet and ecommerce
Strong negotiation skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc)
Familiarity with the organic/natural products industry a plus, but not required
Internet start up experience a huge plus, but not required
Copywriting experience a huge plus, but not required
4-year college degree
Live in or around San Francisco/Marin County
