I'm looking for a top notch Flash Actionscript Programmer who meets the following requirements:
- Vast experience in programming Flash games in Actionscript
- High level of Actionscript programming in Flash 2.0
- Experience in writing clean, concise and centralized code to be re-used by several games
- The ability to understand and dissect code written by another developer
- Talent for seamlessly integrating design elements with Actionscript is a great plus
The job involves a major revamp of existing, working code for a series of 3 Flash games all launched from within a Flash console. The initial work will involve becoming familiar with the games, their logic and how all of the code works as well as how the system is built.
The majority of the task involves restructuring and re-writing of code in a centralized location to reduce redundancy and potential for errors. Code for this system was developed over the course of several Flash versions by more than 1 developer.
Your job would be to consolidate everything and, most importantly, to improve the code infrastructure while maintaining all of the current functionality.
The job doesn't involve QA but it does require meticulous work and very clean coding and development practice as well as code commenting at every step of the way. The games need to be cleaned up to the point where adding new features, the next phase of the job, will be much easier to do.
Please send samples of your work
