One Model Place SCAM
Last month I had the sad idea of joining the One Model Place website as a GOLD Member for a recurring monthly fee.
A couple of weeks later I decided to cancel my membership and went on-line to discover that they make it to upgrade to a more expensive (PLATINUM) membership, the easiest task in the world but don’t provide any valid working links for current clients to close an existing account.
I spent two weeks sending messages to their “customer support” team and all the other email addresses they use to spam clients with announcements of promotions/events and bother with warnings about incomplete member profile issues.
All my emails to their announcement (spam) addresses came back to me with delivery problem messages (“Recipient’s Mailbox is Full”, and so on), while my copious emails to their “customer support” got no answer with the exception of a couple where they just sent a hyperlink for cancellation that once clicked takes to a page for re-activating accounts instead of closing existing ones.
Long story short: I had to end up contacting my bank to change my credit card number to prevent One Model Place to keep on charging me every month against my will.
NEVER GIVE YOUR CREDIT CARD INFO TO THOSE INESCRUPULOUS GUYS OF O.M.P., the lowest and most marginal porn site on the web has more decency and integrity than One Model Place.
Oh, and by the way, our beloved Craigslist provides an excellent service TOTALLY FREE.
