On The Go Pet Care is a fun, successful dog walking and pet sitting business based in San Francisco.
We’re looking for another person to add to our team!
We provide dog walking in the City Mon-Fri and pet sitting throughout the City all week.
· The position is part time and includes walking a group of dogs and possibly sometimes two groups of dogs a day Mon-Fri
between the hours of 9:30am and 4pm with ample time for an hour lunch break in between.
· Must be available to work weekends, nights and holidays. We give sufficient weekends off and are able to accommodate requests for time off.
· Pay will depend on the number of groups walked and the number of pet sitting requests received each week.

· Additional pay on holidays + bonuses. Paid training. Gas cost reimbursed.
· Employee will operate as an Independent Contractor, responsible for his/her own health insurance and taxes.

THE JOB
· Walking groups of dogs on and off leash in city parks
· Visiting cats, dogs and sometimes other small pets in their homes & taking care of household tasks (mail/plants/garbage)
· Occasionally staying overnight in client’s home (8pm – 8am) while clients are away
· Walking/feeding dog(s) while owner is away on a trip (visits typically occur around 8:30am and 7:30pm
· Performing various light administrative and marketing tasks (copying, flyering
· Transporting pets to vet/groomer/boarder
REQUIREMENTS
You must:
· Love dogs and cats and have previous experience caring for them
· Have a strong work ethic and care deeply for the well-being of all animals in your care
· Be reliable, alert, sensible and able to communicate well and follow detailed instructions
· Be available to work holidays, weekends, and nights
· Own reliable transportation which MUST be a pick up truck with cab, an SUV or a hatchback car where the seats fold down with ample head room for dogs. The vehicle must hold up to 6 dogs comfortably. You must have car insurance, a driver’s license and have a clean driving record
· Own a cell phone, and a computer with internet connection & preferably also a printer
· Live in San Francisco
· Be able to commit for one year preferably; but at least 6 months
· Be able to pass a criminal background check
A PLUS
· Experience in basic dog training and obedience
· Experience administering medications to cats and dogs
