We are a growing franchisee of a national retail chain. For our office in San Francisco we are looking for an Office Manager / Bookkeeping Clerk to join our team. The Office Manager works closely with the Accounting Manager and the President at the San Francisco office, and interacts continuously with the General Managers of our stores.

The position includes

- Assisting in various administrative and accounting tasks
- Frequent interaction with our store management
- Human Resources Administration
- Contact with our vendors
- Verify daily deposits and petty cash reports for accuracy
- Assist with duties necessary for processing payroll that include maintaining employee payroll deductions, data entry of payroll information and maintaining accrued employee paid vacation/sick time
- Processing expense reports, including auditing and follow-up with employees
- Assist with month-end bookkeeping duties as needed, which includes but is not limited to monthly journal entries and bank reconciliation


The successful candidate will

- Have good interpersonal skills
- Have at least basic bookkeeping knowledge, including familiarity with Quick Books
- Be organized and comfortable with multi-tasking
- Have a stable work history
- Be familiar with usual computer tasks (Quickbooks, Word, Excel)
