Manage the office for a local company by being the full charge bookkeeper and supervising customer service. We are looking for a positive and enthusiastic manger who would feel comfortable talking with our professional clientele over the telephone, enjoy hands-on responsibility for implementing a superior customer service environment and enjoy being part of a small team that treats the company as their own.
FULL CHARGE BOOKKEEPER,
Responsibilities: all financial services, including A/P, A/R, P/R, G/L, cash managent, etc.
Examples of tasks:
·Code, enter, & pay invoices and apply & post receipts to customer accounts;
·Responsibly remit important payments & reports such as taxes, insurance, etc.;
·Prepare and make bank deposits and assist with CF management;
·Manage bank reconciliation, expense accrual and spreadsheet analysis;
·Handle GL account reconciliation and journal entry preparation;
·Maintain fixed asset schedules and files, prepare sales and other tax returns;
·Prepare monthly and other financials, coordinate with CPAs on ongoing basis;
·Process payroll semi-monthly and maintain employee records;
·Oversee health insurance and retirement plan contributions;
·Maintain orderly filing systems for all areas of responsibility;
·Respond to customer & vendor inquiries, do some light collections;
·Assist with datebase management to support marketing and sales efforts.
CUSTOMER SERVICE
Responsibilities: Supervise two-three customer service representatives who are responsible for inbound telephone calls to process orders, and responding to information requests.
Examples of tasks:
Cover phones over the lunch period, and vacations as needed;
Ensure all communication with customers – telephone, fax, mail, e-mail - is professional and consistent;
Ensure customer satisfaction in the event of any issues;
Ensure all procedures are accurately documented;
Co-ordinate the introduction of any new procedures;
Identify opportunities for service quality improvements, staff productivity and cost containment;
Identify opportunities to communicate positively with customers on service matters to build customer loyalty;
Keep current on marketing and sales initiatives to respond knowledgably to customer questions;
Collect and share information from customers within the company that enables the company to stay in touch with customer service requests or new product needs.

·Know BusinessWorks /other fully integrated Windows accounting programs;
·Customer Service management experience & training.
·Full-time, Monday – Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, or 7:00 am - 4:00 pm.
