Item number 3, the Nikon ML-1 Receiver with Remote Control,
is something that you would use for self portraits, mounting
the camera on a tripod, focusing on a specific location, & moving
clear of the camera so as not to be seen, or spook any wildlife
that you may be shooting. The Remote was widley used for sports
photography, and was usually taped to the back, side or top of a
basketball backboard for action shots. The maximum distance for
operation is approximately 25 yards.
This outfit is perfect for the beginner, or the seasoned
professional. I have kept all of this equipment in excellent
working condition, & serviced & cleaned when needed.
The lens on the camera in the pictures is item number 6, the Nikon
80-200 f4 Zoom Lens. By far one of the best lenses Nikon has ever
made.
