Hi! My name's Rhiannon and I'm currently a student at SSU with big plans to one day teach. Until then, I’m working with my second passion: animals. I've been employed locally as a veterinarian assistant for the last two years and a kennel worker four years before that.
I’m available to take care of your animals for one to two visits a day (must be in or close to Santa Rosa) or for overnight visits (includes Sonoma County, and parts of Marin and Napa counties). I do book up fast, but occasionally I have cancelations, so call soon! I'm willing to do watering, mail retrieval, run small errands, and give your critters some TLC year round. (This is not just a summer job for me! I love doing it and often do my school reading while cuddling with one of my charges.) I will do walking and am able to handle large/spunky dogs. I’m comfortable with pet sitting dogs, cats, rodents, birds, and some exotics. I'm also very willing to learn how to take care of farm animals and horses.
Rates start as little as 10 dollars a day (one visit) or 20 dollars a day (overnight) and depend on number of animals, driving distance from Santa Rosa, and special needs. Overnights are booking up quickly for March, April and May. Please call me soon if you are hoping to have me spend the night! Also, I will not be taking jobs for most of June, but am more than willing to job-share with the couple of petsitters who will be covering for my normal clients during that time if you will be leaving in May, or not getting back until July.
