There is one position open for a team to play 5 on 5 in the Masters League in Hayward starting April 3. The player profile for this league is 30 and over with average height of 6ft and average playing experience. YOU DON'T HAVE TO BE 30 OR OVER TO PLAY!! It is preferred, but right now, I just need eager players...I am looking for players that can commit to playing on Monday nights until the first week of June. The schedule runs for 10 games on Monday nights and the starting time for the first game is 7:15pm. The games should be done by 10PM. We will only leave at 10pm if we play the last game of the night. So the expectation is to be available from 7:15-10:15pm Monday nights starting April 3-June5 (not including playoffs). The regulations are as follows:
4 – 8 minute quarters
Stop time with 2 minutes remaining during 2nd and 4th quarter
Minimum of 8 players
Cost of team is $595.00 which covers refs, scorekeeper, gym time, etc.
If we get 8 players the cost per player would be $75
If we get 10 players the cost per player would be $60
7 players the cost per player is $85
6 players the cost per player is $100
As you can see, the more players we get the less the cost will be per player. I am looking at a minimum of 8 players and you will be guaranteed playing time in each game. Once I get confirmation that you are eager to showcase your basketball skills in a full court game, I will give you further details about player positions, running the offense and defense plays, and team name. I will look into seeing how much jerseys would cost with numbers for those interested. This is a very exciting opportunity to further your cardio exercise by playing one night a week!
