I am looking for 1-2 children to care for in addition to my 5 yr old son and 1 1/2 yr old daughter. I live in Castro Valley but am looking to find a position in Castro Valley, San Ramon, Dublin, Pleasanton areas. My son attends Proctor Elementary (PM Kindergarten) so any family with children attending Proctor would be wonderful. I also work childcare two mornings a week at Lady of America Fitness Center where the kids can play any enjoy interaction with other children.
I have worked many summers as a kindergaten teacher for VBS at a local church. I was a counselor at Hume Lake for a summer for kids ages 8&9. I also worked 1 1/2 yrs at a Church in Southern California as a teacher for the Childrens Ministry. I was given the opportunity to teach all of the different age groups which included newborn-6 months, 6 months to walking stage, walkers and toddlers, 2yr olds, 3yr olds and our 4&5yr old class. I have had numerous babysitting positions for different families and of course I have my own 2 children to add to my knowledge. I have extensive experience with children and I love playing and interacting with the children not only "watching" them. I enjoy getting down on the floor and building a block castle, racing cars or drawing princesses to color. My daughter has many fun dress up clothes to share including tutus dresses fairy wings and more. Both of my children get along very well with others. My son is very good with the younger smaller children and my daughter can also hold her own with older children. We own two horses so there is the possibilty your children can feed some hay or be lead around for a horse ride if this is something they might enjoy when the days are sunnier. My son also has a 5month old puppy (he lives out at the ranch with our horses)who loves kids and playing fetch.
I have a valid CDL/Insurance and a clean driving record.I will be taking the CPR/First Aid class to become CPR certified.
