I am extremely computer-literate, self-starting, and have the ability to quickly and independently learn almost any software application. Macy Women/Kids and Lingerie Depts.
Started working part time in Macy Women/Kids department of store and within a month was hired full-time to Lingerie department. While working in Lingerie department, became leader in sales and number of Macy’s Credit Cards opened. Other duties included: fitting room cleaning, helping to merchandise the department, helping out short-staffed departments, loss prevention, bra and underwear fittings, and charge sends.
Peet's Coffee and Tea Sept. 2003 – Nov. 2003
Barista/Bean Counter
Worked at Bar and Bean Counter at this popular coffee shop chain. Ran Aloha touch screen cash register, bagged and ground beans, and prepared samples of tea and coffee for customers using Chemex and press pots. Also brewed coffee in large industrial coffee urns. Re-learned to make drinks at the bar with the Espresso machine. Was also responsible for closing the bean counter, cleaning grinders, sweeping and mopping the sales floor, restocking all merchandise, and restocking and cleaning the condiment counter.
