A unique approach that unlocks your larger self, enabling you to access the unfettered, daring self-of- all-possibilities. Taught in a supportive atmosphere, this training releases powerful creative energy, imagination and natural spontaneity. Beyond comedy “Improv”, FULL SPECTRUM training activates full emotional and physical range to create Improvisational Theatre of authenticity and substance, as well as joyful, intoxicating play. You’ll strengthen your presence, learn to trust your intuition and develop confidence and ease. Includes expressive movement and voice, theatre games, storytelling, acting technique and taming the inner critic.
Master improviser JOYA CORY, has been performing and teaching since1971. She is the creator of numerous original theatre pieces, acts and directs throughout California and Europe and directs the improvisation troupe, LUCKY DOG THEATRE. Her work has been recognized with grants from the California Arts Council, in addition to other grants and awards. Joya has trained actors, therapists, teachers, public speakers and business people, as well as teaching movement and drama for healing. She is a dedicated and innovative teacher.

Attend your first class on a try-it-out basis for $30.
PHYSICAL IMPROVISATIONAL THEATER (Intermediate/ Advanced)
at St John’s Church , Arguello and Lake Streets
Wednesdays 7-9:45 p.m.
March 15, 22, 29 & April 5, 19, 26, & May 3,10- Ongoing
$32 pr class or 4 classes for $110.
This class provides an opportunity to deepen performance skills.
SOLO PERFORMANCE LAB at Shotwell Studio
Limited to 5 participants. Culminates in performance.
Saturdays 10-1 New session starts April 15.
