WideRay's current client platforms include: Java (J2ME), Windows Mobile, Symbian and Palm.
Responsibilities:

Design, implement
and test enhancements to our mobile client applications in areas such as:
- Graphical layout
- User interfaces
- SMS communication
- Bluetooth communication
- Payment solutions
- Dream up innovative new technical approaches
- Challenge yourself to overcome complex design issues
- Contribute, learn, succeed and have fun
Job Requirements:
- 3+ years commercial software engineering experience
- Firm grasp of the Java language and common APIs
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills
- Object-oriented analysis and design skills
- Ability to write solid, well documented, thread-safe code
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- B.S. or equivalent minimum experience
Experience in any of the following is a plus:
- Client application development
- Development for constrained platforms
- Bluetooth, JSR-82, OBEX
- Game development for mobile platforms
- C++
- Symbian application development
- Windows Mobile application development
- Developing user interfaces
- Tools such as Ant, Perforce, Bugzilla and JUnit
- XML, XSL
- Scripting
- Prior experience working at a startup
