-- Description : (1977 John N Hansen Co.) For 2 to 6 players. This game includes twenty original Sherlock Holmes adventures written especially for this game by mystery writers James Thomson and R. In this game you start at 221B Baker st. and travel through the streets and alleys of London picking up clues and attempting to solve some of the most intriguing cases Holmes and Watson ever faced. Each player assumes the role of Holmes and matches wits with the other players to determine who possesses the most skillful deductive powers. The first to return to 221 B with the correct answers to a particular mystery or crime and announce the solution is the winner. (On the surface, reminiscent of "CLUE" this game takes detecting to a new level)

49ERS CHECKERS - (1) - $2.00
-- Description : (1993 Big League Promotions) For 2 players. The classic checkers with an NFL twist! Board is split in half with NFC on 1 side and AFC on the other. NFC side is blue squares alternating with white squares. NFC Team helmet pictures are on the white squares. AFC side are red squares alternating with white squares. AFC Team helmets are pictured on the white squares on this side of the board. The "checkers" themselves are miniature helmets. Listed on the back of the box are different "Team match-ups". This game happens to be 49ers vs. Dallas Cowboys. To "King" someone, you simply ADD the facemask to the helmet by snapping it on.

Instead of "dots" these dominoes feature different characters from the "Arthur" world and have facts about the characters on the reverse side.

Also present on an unpunched card are 24 carnage tokens, 2 locker room cards, and 2 team play tokens, and 1 set of instructions.

CATHEDRAL - (1) - $2.17
-- Description : (1986 Mattel) Cathedral is played on a plastic molded "board" , with plastic molded pieces that are different miniature buildings from medieval times.(14 total buildings per side, at least one each of : Churches, Castles, Abbeys, Taverns, Stables, Inns,Bridges, Manors, Squares, Infirmaries, Towers, and Academies, and 1 Cathedral that is neutral) Sides are light grey, and maroon, and the Cathedral is white. Each pieces has a different shaped base, somewhat like Tetris pieces, that is used to try and control territory or surround your opponent. The player that controls the most territory is the winner.

CAVES AND CLAWS : A CO - OPERATIVE GAME - (1) - $1.00
-- Description : (1998 Family Pastimes) For 1 to 4 players ages 6 to adult. This game, made in Canada, is a "Dr. Toy 10 Best Games Winner" . "Caves and Claws is a fantasy game, featuring elements of suspense, careful planning, teamwork, danger, and humor". The game consists of getting your token to the abandoned caves and temples, finding lost artifacts while avoiding dnagers and obstacles, and returning to the base camp safely.

-- Description : (1981 Cardinal Ind.) This is a special CHESS set in that all the pieces(hollow plastic) each have a 5/8" added base. On this base is printed the number of spaces that THIS PIECE moves AND also shows HOW (in which direction) each piece moves. Perfect for someone learning chess!

Box states board is, "Sturdy, full color playing board.". I would tend to believe it's that pressboard type cardboard. A standard for anyone's game cabinet.

Using different shaped track pieces players try to make a continuous track connecting any of four "terminals" on one side to any of the four "terminals" on the other side of the board.

CROSSWORD CUBES - (1) - $2.18
-- Description : (1968 Selchow-Righter) 2 players. Players roll the letter cubes and have 3 minutes to form words in crossword fashion, if possible, to score points. This game is impressively complete with interior "boxing" and plastic zipper baggie for the cubes. (bag says "Crossword Cubes" on it). ******Worthy of note: I believe there should be a scorepad with this set and is the ONLY thing missing, score can be tallied just as easily on any paper, which is why I am still comfortable posting it here. ******

Game description from back of the box -- " Flightplan mixes just the right amounts of skill and chance to deliver fun and excitement for 2 to 6 players aged 8 to adult. You fly your own airplane from airport to airport around the country. Your goal is to deliver passengers to their destination airports. Molded plastic board is black with a simulated(?) felt green playing surface and trays on both sides for holding each players discs, used but in very nice condition with no rips or tears. Discs are two sided (black and white) and are approx 5/8" in diameter. Nice edition to any gamers collection.

-- Description : (Avalon Hill , The only date I can find is on instructions and they say Feb. 1985) For 2 to 4 Players. This Avalon Hill Bookcase Game is actually five(5) different games all played on the game board representing 13,200 square miles of woods, rough terrain, mountains, plains, rivers, and lakes. Each of the game situations allows for adaptation to suit the players ideas. The different game scenarios are ; Lost, Survival, Search, Rescue, and Pursue. This game is Complete for play, the ONLY missing piece here is inconsequential and is a blank extra die cut marker. ****One more thing worthy of note: Instructions state that the "Mapboard Movement Chart" is "printed on lid of inside game box". Well, that is incorrect it IS printed on it's own sheet of paper.****

-- Description : ( 1980 Pressman Toys) Stamped made in Israel, this set is complete with the exception of one oddity. This game was made with all 106 plastic tiles BUT there is no green 9, and there is an extra green 6. Being that 9's and 6's are just flipped characters, I assume this was a "printing" error and previous owner penciled in a "9" on that extra "6".

Trophies are plastic standing "tokens" and this one has broken at it's base. Both pieces are present and it could possibly be superglued but isn't necessary for gameplay. *****

SQUARE OFF - (1)- $2.35

Playing pieces have "track" on them of different directions / turns. Across the top of the board are the letters A thru E, and around the other three edges are 1 thru 6 (corresponding to a die roll) One player chooses a letter and the other rolls the die. THEN the fun begins : as soon as the die roll is called both players try to slde their tracks in a race to connect these two points on the board. First successful player grabs the letter from the top of the board, the player that gets 3 letters first is the winner.
