DWR markets to businesses and design professionals, as well as the general public via an experienced account sales team, a popular catalog and website, and retail Studios. Most products are carried in stock and ready to ship, whereas the industry standard for delivery is four months.
We are looking for a Merchandise Assistant to join our Merchandising Team.
Specific responsibilities include:
•Accurately set up and maintain all product information in established systems
•Timely preparation and distribution of sample orders
•Communicate with vendors and agents regarding sample status, costing, and SKU worksheets
•Monitor vendor checklist, including updating New Product Fact Sheets and tracking Vendor Service Agreements
•Create and maintain MTL spreadsheets
•Initiate and track package testing
•Track and open samples & packages
•Assist with other projects as needed
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree preferred
2 years of administrative experience required
Proficiency in Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook) and the Internet
Action oriented, works with a sense of urgency to meet deadlines
Demonstrated ability to maintain composure when under pressure
Flexible; able to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
Excellent communication skills; able to communicate clearly and effectively, in both written & verbal forms.
Exceptionally detail oriented and able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
Ability to work well in a team environment
