A prominent private social and dining club is currently seeking a Member Liaison. This individual is the face of the Club, providing warm welcomes, fond farewells, and excellent service to all Members and Guests in between. The Member Liaison is responsible for answering phones, directing Members and guests to their destinations within the Club, providing business and concierge services to Members, and informing Members and guests of Club services, features, upcoming events, room locations and amenities.
Daily duties include, but are not limited to:
Greeting members and guests; connecting members to their guests and seating
Taking affiliate Club member reservations and maintaining relationships with affiliate Club contacts
Answering multi-line switchboard phone system and directing calls to appropriate departments
Taking reservations (via phone and Email) and distributing reservation sheets for each dining period
Helping members and guests in the lounge, as needed (i.e., cocktails, coffee)
Writing and organizing reservation charge slips for servers and accounting
Writing and organizing member special event reservation sheets and charge slips
Transfer event information to Reader Board and input of event information into computer system
Working closely with the Member Relations, Membership and Private Events Departments in referring leads
Collecting information for new Members concerning their needs through new Member telephone calls; maintaining relationships with all members through prompt and courteous contact
Support to other Department Heads, as needed
Other administrative duties such as making copies, stuffing envelopes, labeling, errands, typing, etc.
Minimum Job Requirements and Expectations:
High School Diploma and/or College Degree
Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word; ability to learn and utilize various software applications proficiently as required by the position
Knowledge of POS systems such as MICROS, ALOHA, or JONAS A+
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills A MUST!
Ability to devote attention to members and guests needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment; detail oriented and accurate
Friendly, professional and dignified
An excellent memory for names, faces, members preferences, etc.
High end Customer Service experience (Nordstrom/Neiman Marcus/Etc.) A+++
This position is full time (regular business hours with occasional evenings), and is eligible for the benefit package.
