Growing demand for medical Spanish courses from health care professionals and several years of experience have led me to produce a specialized Spanish course offering language skill development for physicians, doctors and nurses enabling them to better communicate in Spanish regarding diagnosis, symptoms, treatment etc..
From Madrid (Spain) I come to San Francisco Bay Area with over 11 years of experience in teaching Spanish as well as serving San Francisco State University and UC Berkeley as a freelance approved tutor and translator in the Spanish Language.
As a practice I like to assess the skill level of my students; Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced, and then tailor the class to your needs as appropriate. My one on one conversational classes are very motivating, fun and progressive. Meaning that I put you in real situations where you only have one choice, speak in the Spanish language.
Further, I am dedicated to working towards your improvement, helping to identify your weaknesses and grow your strengths.
This Spanish course enables healthcare professionals to understand and communicate in real situations of their work environment, understand basic vocabulary related to healthcare, master grammar structures and functional basics, and have a better idea about the Spanish healthcare system.
The classes are private and take place at my classroom in the City of Richmond near the Marina off of 580, close to BART Station and San Rafael Bridge.
Arrangements can also be made for classes to be held in other locations.
I do my best to keep you at ease and comfortable so that you get the most out of every lesson. My schedule is flexible so we can plan together the best times suitable for your lessons.
Learning Spanish is fun, interactive and beneficial but it is ongoing and takes proven commitment. My rates are very reasonable at $40 per lesson. (Each lesson lasts one and a half hours)or $175 per five 90 minutes scheduled classes. This makes it a very manageable activity!
