OBJECTIVE
The year was 2003. The techs had wrecked and the dotcoms had dot-bombed and I fled back to the confines of the academia. The time has come to venture back to the real world of business. 2005 - Present
Managed the daily operations for Continuing Pharmacy Education (CPE) including office administration, fiscal oversight, and marketing, and assisted in strategic and operational planning for this nonprofit division. Implemented new accounting procedures and cash flow management tools to improve budgeting, reporting and accountability.Managed logistics for continuing education conferences and programs ranging from 10 to 150 participants. Increased attendance at geriatric pharmacy conferences by 25% through improved marketing techniques. Implemented CPE’s web site redesign and online course development. Coordinated the External Doctor of Pharmacy Degree program and provided academic counseling to students. Provided payroll and operations coordination for the Dean’s Office.
