Hello,
I am a Marin-based Software Quality Assurance Engineer with 10+ years of manual black box testing at such companies as Macromedia and Broderbund. My experience includes testing applications, multimedia, and websites. I am familiar with the Software Development Life Cycle and all aspects of manual black box QA including bug writing, test running, regression testing, doc proofing, etc. Being an English major and native speaker, my verbal and writing skills are quite good and I am willing to learn new technologies like automated testing.
I am looking for a mid-level QA and/or Tech Writing position that is in Marin, Petaluma, or the upper East Bay (Oakland, Emeryville, Berkeley, Albany, Richmond, etc.). Although I prefer the above areas, I will consider San Francisco positions that are easily accessible or that provide parking. I am open to contract, permanent, full-time or part-time positions. I wish to work on a team with at least one other and in an environment with open communication among all in the development area. Below is a partial view of my resume. I will gladly furnish the full resume and references upon request. Please contact me at (415) 499-3316 or by email for further information.
Thanks,
Brian Campbell.
