Manager, Project Management
CV Therapeutics seeks an individual to work closely with project team members to help ensure the successful identification and integration of cross-functional activities for clinical-stage drug development projects. The position is responsible for orchestrating the creation, communication and tracking of drug development plans, timelines and milestones to support the advancement of CVTs pipeline. You will summarize project issues and options to facilitate decision-making with management committees. Additional responsibilities include promoting effective teamwork by facilitating group discussions; establishing cooperation; resolving cross-functional issues; and resolving conflict. You may help to manage a corporate alliance relationship, depending on the project.
This position requires a Bachelors degree, preferably in Life Sciences, 3+ years relevant experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industries including experience with cross-functional development teams and the ability to understand scientific data. Experience with cardiovascular, diabetic or pulmonary therapeutics is a plus. A solid grasp of project-level financial data and forecasting would be valuable. Applicants must be detail-oriented with outstanding organizational, interpersonal and oral/written communication skills; proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft Project is important.
