Opportunity: Manager, Financial Planning and Analysis
Location: Alameda, California

The primary responsibilities of the Manager, Financial Planning and Analysis are to provide budget guidance, internal management reporting, forecasting, and financial modeling. Additional responsibilities include reporting cost of operations, customer economics, budget versus actual, operational analytics, and revenue recognition.
Job Qualifications:
The individual must have 5-8 years of experience in financial reporting, financial planning and/or financial systems with good financial modeling and analysis skills. The candidate should have a strong background in systems, operational analytics, and internal management reporting. Small company and start-up experience strongly preferred. Previous experience building a finance function from the ground-up for a growing technology company.
Requirements:
The individual must possess strong communication skills and demonstrated ability to interact effectively as part of a team and in a support role to senior management and other members of finance. Key measures of success include proactive identification and resolution of financial data issues, as well as accuracy and timeliness of management reports and demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced environment. This is an individual contributor role with a growing company. A bachelor’s degree is required and previous experience in a similar role with a high-tech company along with an MBA is strongly preferred.
