JOB SUMMARY
The Manager, Financial Analysis & Reporting is responsible for managing financial reporting, financial analysis, the annual budget process, interim projections and long-range forecasts. This position reports to the Controller and manages the Senior Financial Analyst.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Perform all duties as assigned in a timely, accurate and professional manner. Respond to all clients and users of financial information with the highest level of service. Work as a member of the financial team.
• Manage the annual budget process.
• Manage preparation, or prepares quarterly projections of operating income and expense.
• Manage preparation or prepares and multi-year forecasts and analyses.
• Manage production and analysis of the monthly operating statement and other internal financial reports.

• Manage the business decision support process by developing key department, program or project analyses and forecasts and working with key department managers.

• Responsible for integrity and consistent use of chart of account codes

• Leverage and enhance the report-writing functionality of existing systems. Evaluate and recommend new systems to enhance finance and accounting process effectiveness.

• Evaluate and recommend approaches to control organization costs and monitoring and reporting on progress.

• Provide complex analytic reports to meet external requirements as well as to support management and board decisions.

• Provide analytical reports and other support in annual audit and preparation of 990 filing.

• Prepare or support the preparation of special reports and analysis as requested or required.

• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Chief Financial Officer.


QUALIFICATIONS
• BA/BS degree in accounting, finance or related field required.

• CPA or MBA preferred.

• Eight to ten years experience in financial analysis and reporting with increasing level of responsibility, including developing and managing complex reporting and analysis

• Expert knowledge of accounting, analysis, and report-writing software, including Excel

• Ability and experience in producing excellent work while working under time pressures

• Excellent communication skills; experience and enthusiasm for working in team setting

• Must be well-organized and detail-oriented.
