HIGH PROFILE Department Manager position requires outstanding customer service, communications, analytical and administrative skills.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: supervising administrative staff, analyzing and reporting on member trends, interfacing with members, coworkers, executive committee and Board of Directors, coordinating member orientations, completing quarterly classification audits, completing and maintaining all member correspondence, providing administrative support to the Board of Directors including agendas, preparing and distributing minutes, assisting with Board of Director events and activities, coordinating committee meetings, etc.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
2-3 years managerial experience in an administrative capacity. Excellent organizational skills. Proven business writing skills. Clear, concise written and verbal communication skills. Strong people managing and leadership skills. Strong technical skills. Excellent time management skills. Exceptional detail in follow-up. Strong analytical skills required for analyzing data, establishing trends, writing and presenting reports. Ability to prioritize, multi-task, write professional business correspondence, present detailed technical knowledge. Intermediate to advanced computer skills in MS Word, MS Excel. Prior knowledge of Crystal Reports and DMS preferred. Working knowledge of Outlook required. Participative management style.
Previous hospitality experience strongly preferred.
