Responsibilities:
· Oversee full release of Betas
· Manage a team of Product Analysts
· Hire, set goals, appraise, and mentor Product Analysts
· Create implementation strategies for new library software products and existing product enhancements
· Work closely with Product Development Departments throughout the product design cycle, bridging the gap between software design and coding
· Actively participate in software design meetings, write specifications for Software Engineering, work with the Engineers during coding process, review test plans and documentation, and install and troubleshoot software during the beta test period
· Work directly with customers during beta testing, handling escalated customer problem calls and questions
· Provide instruction on new software features to other departments within the company
Requirements:
· BS in computer science or equivalent
· 3-5 years related industry experience
· Excellent analytic skills
· Strong written communication and interpersonal skills
· Ability to work independently or as part of a team
· Ability to organize and prioritize work
· Problem-solving skills
· Attention to detail
Desired:
· MLS or familiarity with library practices and procedures
· Experience with library automation software
· Experience with UNIX, Windows O/S
· Programming experience
· Scripting language experience
