| Male surfer/actor needed for lead role in unique, short indie-film |

| I'm in the process of making a short independent film, and I need a volunteer to play a male surfer around college age, like 18-25. The movie is about a quiet girl who sees the guy surfing and gets a crush on him and projects him into her fantasies that relate to different books she's reading, but before she can build up the courage to meet him, he gets eaten by a shark. In the course of the movie, the character surfs, plays ukelele and sings a song at a Hawaiian bonfire, makes a delicious meal, fights through a forest in Victorian garb, rocket-surfs in outer space, and finally gets eaten by a shark. It should be a really quick and fun shoot over 5 or so weekends in April and May. Just one thing: The movie has already started filming in Santa Barbara. I will give you a comfortable ride down there and pay for your lodging on the weekends we shoot. It's should be a really cool experience, but it does require some dedication. I can work around school/work schedules as long as your Friday afternoons, Saturdays and Sundays are free. Acting ability/experience/interest is appreciated but not required.
