Bridge for Africa is a small non-profit organization partnering with 13 artisan groups on the ground in Africa. We are all about FAIR TRADE and the DIGNITY OF WORK. We partner with these groups to develop, create, and market their high quality handmade collectible African art pieces in the U.S. Check out our website at: www.bridgeforafrica.org for more information on what we do!
We are holding a training session for new volunteers in the SOUTH BAY, however, many of our events are in and around SF itself -- for example the PRIDE parade in June, the North Beach Festival in July, the Filmore Jazz Festival in July, etc etc, so ideally we would like to build up a volunteer base in the south bay and in the city.
If you are able to travel down to Mountain View on TUESDAY night at 6:30pm for our volunteer training session, please join us! It will be held in the Mountain View Public Library Community meeting room, fairly close to the train station (caltrain).
