cute enough
I'm in the process of changing careers: I'm taking classes part-time and working as a classical musician the rest of the time. The "part-time" aspect means the change is a slow process, and I'll be in school for the next 6 years or so, which might be off-putting for some of you. I don't make a lot of money (one of the reasons I'm heading away from music as a career), but I do make enough to stay above the red (just not enough to be able to afford to buy a home in the Bay Area). I love being in school again: both my classes and my music jobs are fun, so the combination is satisfying and life is good. I would really like to find a best friend and partner, though: someone to share the evenings with after a long day, someone who wants to talk and plan and explore the world together. I'm sorta goofy, definitely not a partier (when I'm out of the house, it usually means I'm out in nature rather than out-and-about town), INTP in Myers-Briggs terminology (if you're not familiar with this test, mostly what I'm saying here is that I'm an introvert), and have very little interest in the latest fashion trend. Who am I looking for? Well, a great, smart-geeky guy who's looking for "the one", too.
things that we'd probably have in common:
liberal
never married, no kids, but absolutely looking forward to starting a family
not religious but understand why some find religion so important
loves hiking, even in the rain, and even better with a puppy
nonsmoker, no drugs, but occasional drink now and then
mid-30-ish (34 - 39)
doesn't think that tv is evil but loves the movies
